FLEA
VERSE...
Big fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas, and so, ad infinitum.
And these big fleas themselves have greater fleas to go on,
while these again have greater still, and greater still, and
so on.
FLEA AND ELEPHANT
Said a tiny Flea to the Elephant
"Mind how you tread in this clearing!"
But alas! Cruel fate!
She was crushed by the weight
Of an Elephant, hard of hearing.
FLEA, FLY, FLUE
A fly and a flea in a flue
Were imprisoned, so what could they do?
Said the fly, "Let us flee!"
"Let us fly!" said the flea.
So they flew through the flaw in the flue. |
